THE EFFECT OF ACADEMIC RESOURCE QUALITY AND MOTIVATION ON STUDENT ENGAGEMENT IN THE STUDENT CREATIVITY PROGRAM MEDIATED WITH PERCEPTIONS OF ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT

The development of higher education today faces major challenges in producing graduates who are not only academically competent, but also possess creativity, experience, independence, innovation, and active participation in self-development activities. One key indicator of the success of learning and development processes at the university level is Student Engagement. Strategic factors that can be optimized include the quality of academic human resources, student motivation, and perceptions of campus organizational support. The research objective is to analyze the influence of academic human resource quality and motivation on student engagement in student creativity programs, as well as to test the role of perceptions of organizational support as a mediating variable in this relationship. This study employs a purposive sampling method with 180 respondents aged 18 years or older. As an inferential tool, this study uses PLS-SEM with SPLS 4 software. The results of this study indicate that academic resource quality influences perceptions of organizational support, academic resource quality does not influence student engagement, motivation influences perceptions of organizational support and student engagement, perceptions of organizational support significantly influence student engagement, and academic resource quality and motivation do not significantly influence student engagement mediated by perceptions of organizational support.
