THE INFLUENCE OF NETWORK READINESS, DIGITAL COMPETITIVENESS, AND GDP PER CAPITA ON GLOBAL DIGITAL ECONOMIC ACTIVITY

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of network readiness, digital competitiveness, and GDP per capita on global digital economic activity. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach. The population of this study is global countries. The sample consists of 49 global countries using purposive sampling and considering data limitations. Data was collected from various sources, such as Huawei, the World Bank, the Network Readiness Index, and IMD World. The data analysis
technique used was E-Views 12. The results of this study indicate that network readiness, digital competitiveness, and GDP per capita have a positive and significant effect on global digital economic activity in 2023.
