Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digital payment adoption, income, and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z in DKI Jakarta, as well as the role of self-control as a moderating variable in moderating the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study is Generation Z in DKI Jakarta. The sample consists of 100 respondents determined using the Taro Yamane formula. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires. The data analysis technique employed is SEM-PLS using SmartPLS 4.0. The research results show that the digital payment adoption, income, and financial literacy have a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior, and self-control influences the moderation of the relationship between digital payment adoption, income, financial literacy, and consumptive behavior.
