ADAPTATION OF QRIS TO INCREASE MSME INCOME (PHENOMENOLOGICAL STUDY ON THE PERCEPTION OF MSME TRANSACTION SECURITY)

MSMEs are an economic sector that has also developed in the digital era through the adaptation of QRIS as a strategy to improve financial management and income, by paying attention to security perceptions as a basis for use. The purpose of this research is to analyze how security perceptions and barriers to the use of QRIS affect their use decisions in increasing the effectiveness of MSME transactions and income. This research is a descriptive qualitative using phenomenology by triangulating sources from MSME actors, buyers, and bank employees through in-depth interviews and observations to obtain data or information. This results showed that some business actors still face obstacles due to low understanding and skills in using QRIS, making it difficult to handle the occurrence of error transactions and continue to rely on cash transactions. However, QRIS transactions are proven to provide convenience, efficiency, and support better financial management and improved transaction quality for MSME players, and contribute to increased revenue. Positive perceptions of QRIS security also encourage MSME players' confidence in adapting QRIS.
